The Crown at Boston Spa
After a nine year closure, The Crown reopened in May 2021 after an extensive renovation. Their conservatory restaurant overlooking their landscaped garden terrace is a pleasure to dine in. One of the best places to dine alfresco in Boston Spa. Try a cocktail from their extensive menu or enjoy a range of draught, cask and local packaged beers in the sunshine with a freshly homemade pizza.

The Terrace at Hollins Hall
Just a few minutes north from the centre of Harrogate, in Killinghall, this hidden gem is made for summer. They have a vast outdoor space with a beautiful, elevated terrace overlooking rolling hills. Expect quality ingredients, and a warm welcome.
Try their breakfast from 9am or perhaps an afternoon tea with homemade cakes. Evening dining is available Friday and Saturday, and their Sunday lunches are getting quite the reputation.
The Star Inn the City
The perfect place for fair weather pre-or post-dinner drinks, watching the river flow by. Enviably located on the edge of York’s Museum Gardens and accessed via a tunnel through the city walls near Lendal Bridge, the restaurant’s Terrace runs alongside and the River Ouse affording some of the best views in York matched with stylish interiors and a great atmosphere.
