In addition to moving premises, we are delighted to announce a new partner in the business - Charlotte Morgan, daughter of founder Andrew Morgan. Charlotte, who qualified as an Optometrist over seven years ago, has worked in several practices in the North of England, including our other practice in Ripon. She now works full-time between the two practices, having gained higher qualifications in Glaucoma and retinal conditions.
In 2017, Charlotte participated in a charitable mission with ‘Vision Aid Overseas’ in Ethiopia. For two weeks, she and a team of volunteers tested eyes and provided glasses in the local village of Nekemte and surrounding schools. Continuing her commitment to vision care, Charlotte is training to run the London Marathon on April 21st (a week before her 30th birthday) to raise funds for Vision Action, formerly known as Vision Aid Overseas.
